Michael Roth is a distinguished composer, musician, music director, sound designer, and arranger with an extensive career spanning over four decades. Roth has contributed to more than 250 theatrical productions across North America, including Broadway and the Stratford Festival, with significant works such as the scores for "A Word or Two" and "The Tempest," both featuring Christopher Plummer. As a resident artist at South Coast Repertory and La Jolla Playhouse, Roth has composed music and designed sound for over 90 productions. Additional notable projects include scoring the documentary "Jews and Baseball" and serving as music director for Disney's "The Princess and the Frog." Roth holds bachelor's degrees in Music Theory and Composition, as well as Music and Theatre, from the University of Michigan.
