South Coast Water District
Vernon Weisman is a Principal Engineer at South Coast Water District, managing the Joint Regional Water Supply System. Prior to this, Vernon served as a District Engineer at the City of Corona, where Vernon managed engineering staff responsible for water and sewer systems. Vernon also held roles at Psomas / Daniel Boyle Engineering, Nolte and Associates, US Army, and J-U-B Engineers, Inc., gaining experience in project management, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects. Vernon holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Idaho.
South Coast Water District
South Coast Water District (SCWD) provides potable water, recycled water, and wastewater services to approximately 40,000 residents, 1,000 businesses, and 2 million visitors per year in South Orange County, California. SCWD's service area, divided into five districts, includes the communities of Dana Point, South Laguna Beach, and areas of San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano. A five-member elected Board of Directors oversees policy-making, financial stewardship, rate-setting, capital programs, and long-term planning for the District.
