Director Of Tasting Room And Wine Club Operations at South Coast Winery

Tahra Bargar has a diverse work experience spanning different roles in the hospitality industry. Tahra started their career at The Old Spaghetti Factory as a Team Member from September 2006 to July 2010. Tahra then joined San Diego Home Cooking as a Shift Leader from August 2009 to May 2014.

In 2014, Tahra joined JC Resorts where they worked as a Server from May 2014 to May 2015, followed by a promotion to Restaurant Supervisor from May 2015 to February 2016. Tahra then became a Restaurant Manager at JC Resorts from February 2016 to March 2019.

Afterwards, Tahra worked at Temecula Creek Inn as a Restaurant Manager from April 2019 to April 2020. Tahra'smost recent position is at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, where they have been the Assistant Restaurant Manager since June 2020. Tahra also currently holds the role of Director of Tasting Room and Wine Club Operations at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, which they started in December 2022.

Tahra has demonstrated their expertise in restaurant and hospitality management throughout their career, showcasing their ability to excel in various roles within different organizations.

Tahra Bargar obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they also hold various certifications in the field of beverages. In 2015, they obtained the TIPS certification from TIPS On Premise. In 2017, they achieved the Level 1 Sommelier certification from The Court of Master Sommeliers. In 2020, they obtained the Cicerone-Level One certification from the Cicerone® Certification Program and the Certified Beverage Specialist certification from the Society of Wine Educators. Tahra'smost recent certification is the WSET Level 2- Award in Wines, which they obtained from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in April 2021.
