Gina Gizzi

Gina Gizzi is a dedicated Special Education Teacher with extensive experience in various educational settings, currently serving in the South Colonie Central School District since August 2018, specializing in teaching grades 7/8 Math and Science for students with disabilities. With a strong background in curriculum modification, progress monitoring, and mentorship for new teachers, Gina has also worked as a Direct Consultant Teacher and Resource Room Instructor at Green Tech High Charter School and has held multiple teaching roles focusing on special education across different institutions. In addition to educational roles, Gina has demonstrated strong hospitality skills as a Front Desk Agent at Homewood Suites by Hilton, enhancing guest experiences and assisting with check-in and check-out processes. Gina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Siena College and a Master’s degree in Special Education from the College of St. Joseph.
