Kristin Mesick

Kristin Mesick is an experienced educational professional with a strong background in college and career counseling. Currently serving as the Coordinator of the College and Career Planning Center at Colonie Central High School since July 2021, Kristin focuses on developing post-secondary planning programs that align with the district's developmental counseling approach. Since August 2009, Kristin has worked as a School Counselor within the South Colonie Central School District, engaging with students and the community to support emotional, social, and academic growth. Prior to this, Kristin served as the Department Chair and School Counselor at Ichabod Crane High School, leading a team of counselors and facilitating student career development initiatives. Kristin's early career also includes a role as the Associate Director of Admissions at St. Lawrence University, where recruitment strategies were developed for a diverse territory. Kristin holds a Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling from The Sage Colleges and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from Empire State University.
