Layne Woodard

Layne Woodard has extensive experience in education and coaching, currently serving as the Varsity Girls Lacrosse Head Coach, Varsity Girls Golf Head Coach, Physical Education Teacher, Head Coach for JV Girls Lacrosse, and Girls Freshmen Basketball Coach at South Colonie Central School District since January 2012. Previously, Layne worked at Troy City School District as a Physical Education Teacher and served as Girls Soccer Assistant Varsity Coach and Head Modified Girls Basketball Coach from July 2016 to July 2017. Layne also held positions at Shenendehowa Central School District as an Assistant Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach and Health Education Teacher from September 2013 to June 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Health Education from The Sage Colleges-Sage Graduate School (2012-2014) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Greensboro College (2007-2011).
