Susan Stone

Susan Stone is an experienced educator with a career spanning several roles in business education and counseling. Currently a Business Education Teacher at South Colonie Central School District since August 2022, Susan previously held similar positions at Hoosic Valley Junior Senior High School and WSWHE BOCES, where Susan developed programs focusing on business and entrepreneurship. Earlier in Susan’s career, experience as a Substance Abuse Counselor at St Mary's Healthcare Amsterdam showcased a diverse skill set. Additionally, Susan owned North Country Coffee Cafe, LLC, where efforts were directed at creating a community hub. Initial teaching experience includes roles as a Library Assistant at Queensbury High School and earlier teaching positions at various schools in the Hudson Valley. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a Master of Science in Education from SUNY New Paltz.
