Anam Malik

Anam Malik is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in emergency medical services and patient care. Currently serving as a Student Nurse Intern at Newport Hospital since May 2024, Anam has a background that includes working as a Patient Care Technician and ER Secretary at South County Health since May 2019, and as an Emergency Medical Technician with Medtech Ambulance from March 2018 to March 2020. Anam’s foundational experience in emergency medical services began at URI Emergency Medical Services as an EMT-Basic from September 2016 to December 2019. Earlier work experience includes roles as a cashier and electronics sales associate at Walmart from April 2013 to April 2019 and as a member of the wellness staff at Newport County YMCA from September 2017 to March 2018. Anam is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing at Rhode Island College, having previously studied Biology at both the University of Rhode Island and Community College of Rhode Island.
