Shannon Wasilik

Shannon Wasilik, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Shannon most recently served as the Accounting Director at the South Dakota Board of Regents starting in November 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Manager for the State of South Dakota from March 2019 to November 2019. Shannon also served as the Finance and Business Manager at the Memorial Park Conservancy from November 2017 to March 2019. Shannon has extensive experience in the media industry, having worked at Fox Television Stations, Inc. (News Corp) as the VP Finance, KRIV/KTXH Houston from 2003 to 2017 and as the Director of Finance from 2001 to 2003. Before that, Shannon worked at Lin Broadcasting Corporation as an Assistant Business Manager/Business Manager from 1998 to 2001. Shannon's roles have showcased their expertise in finance and business management.

Shannon Wasilik, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Finance, General from The University of Texas at Austin, where they attended from 1987 to 1991. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy in June 2000.
