Daniel Scholl

VP for Division of Research & Economic Development at South Dakota State University

Daniel Scholl is the Vice President for Division of Research & Economic Development at South Dakota State University. Daniel has previously served as the interim dean of the College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences at South Dakota State University and as the director and associate dean for research of the South Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station. Prior to their current positions, Scholl was a professor at Université de Montréal and at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Daniel also served as the scientific director for RCRMB.

Daniel Scholl has a PhD in Epidemiology from Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht, as well as a BS in Veterinary Science and a DVM from University of California, Davis. Daniel also has an MPVM from UC Davis.

Daniel Scholl works with Kristi Tornquist - Chief University Librarian & Professor, Andi Fouberg - President & CEO, SDSU Alumni Association, and Kas Williams - Chief Diversity Officer. Daniel Scholl reports to Barry Dunn, President.
