Stephen Miedema

Stephen Miedema serves as the Assistant Director of Career Education at South Dakota State University, where responsibilities include managing the Career Education Team and engaging stakeholders to enhance career education across all campus locations. Miedema has held multiple roles in career development at SDSU, starting as a Career Coaching Intern and progressing through positions including Program Coordinator of Career Development. In these roles, Miedema provided career coaching to students and alumni, adapted services during the pandemic, and engaged in outreach programs. Miedema's earlier experience includes a Certified Nursing Assistant position at Brookings Health System and serving as the Recruitment Chair for Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Miedema holds a Master of Education in Administration of Student Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, both from South Dakota State University.
