Tamer Sharafeldin

Tamer Sharafeldin holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medical Sciences, a Master's degree in Veterinary Medical Sciences, and a PhD in Veterinary Pathology with a focus on Avian Pathology. Currently, Tamer serves as an Assistant Professor of Veterinary Pathology at South Dakota State University and is the Founder of Aviaxin. Previous experience includes a Clinical Assistant Professor role at Penn State University, providing clinical diagnostic services, and contracting as a veterinary pathologist for Veterinary Diagnostic Pathology LLC. Tamer's career also features a position as a Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health, involvement in food animal pathology during an externship, and significant research and teaching roles throughout graduate studies at the University of Minnesota and Zagazig University.
