South Dakota Symphony Orchestra
Leigh Wilson is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in both chemistry and music. Currently serving as a Teaching Fellow in the Chemistry and Chemical Biology Laboratory at Harvard University, Leigh has facilitated various courses including experimental organic and analytical chemistry. Prior research includes working in the Friend Lab on FTIR spectroscopy and in the Abdelazim Group focused on potentiometry for studying organic ions. Additionally, Leigh has held positions as a Course Assistant in Physical Sciences and a Student Librarian at Houghton Library. In the music domain, Leigh is an accomplished Section Percussionist with the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra and previously with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Harvard University and a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music.
