Erin Ballesty

Erin Ballesty currently serves as a Community Officer for South Dublin County Council since September 2022 and is also a Member of the Board of Directors at Walkinstown Greenhills Resource Centre since October 2023. Previously, Erin held roles at YMCA Dublin as a Youth Work Coordinator and Youth Worker from January 2018 to September 2022, and at Caremark Ltd as a Healthcare Assistant from May 2017 to January 2018. Erin began youth work experience as a Student Youth Worker with YMCA Ireland and Crosscare. Early retail experience includes a position as a Retail Salesworker at Iceland Foods from July 2014 to May 2017. Erin's educational background includes an Honors Bachelor Degree in Social Care Practice from Technological University Dublin, a Level 8 Module in Games in Youth Work from Limerick Institute of Technology, and certificates in Leadership Development, Conflict Management, and Health and Safety from various institutions. Additionally, Erin has completed a course on Cultivating Passionate Global Citizens focused on Sustainable Development Goals through Children in Crossfire.
