Simon Wigg

Simon Wigg is a highly experienced senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist with over 30 years in sports physiotherapy and a specialization in manipulative physiotherapy. Currently serving as the team physiotherapist for the South East Melbourne Phoenix since July 2019, Simon has extensive experience with basketball teams at both NBL and SEABL levels, including a long-term association with the Knox Raiders. As the principal physiotherapist and director of Wigg's Physiotherapy Services P/L since December 1990, Simon has demonstrated a strong commitment to athletic care, also serving as the physiotherapist for the Australian boys U17 basketball team "Crocs" in 2022. Simon's educational background includes degrees from La Trobe University and the Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences.
