Rowan Barling

Rowan Barling is an experienced professional in water management and environmental engineering, currently serving as the Alternative Water Planning Manager at South East Water since January 2019. Previously, Rowan has worked as an Independent Contractor at WIT Pty Ltd and held significant roles at Jacobs as Senior Principal Integrated Water Management and at Sinclair Knight Merz as Group Manager Clients for Government Environmental Agencies and Natural Resources Sector Leader. Notably, Rowan served as Director for the National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality and Natural Heritage Trust within the Department of Sustainability and Environment, overseeing major environmental initiatives in Victoria. Rowan's academic qualifications include a PhD and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Melbourne, an MBA from the University of Queensland - Mt.
