Alan started their career at PNC Bank in 1995 as a Director. Alan was responsible for originating, marketing, and structuring industrial revenue bond transactions for bank clients. In 2005, they became Credit Executive - Capital Markets and was responsible for all approvals of credit to financial counterparties. Alan left PNC Bank in 2008 to join PNC Financial Services Group as SVP Balance Sheet Risk Management.
As SVP, Alan was responsible for co-directing the department with the Chief Market Risk Officer. Alan was also responsible for analyzing credit and market risk across the balance sheet, recommending credit risk mitigation and optimization strategies, and preparing and presenting quarterly Credit reports to the board of directors. In 2010, Alan left PNC Financial Services Group to become a Board Member at South Eastern Regional College.
Alan McCrum received their Masters in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and their BA from the University of Denver in Political Science and Chinese Studies.
