Sarah Corder is a highly experienced architectural historian with a substantial background in historic preservation and project management. Currently serving as the Principal Architectural Historian at South Environmental, Sarah previously held key positions such as Historic Built Environment Lead at Dudek and Architectural Historian and Project Coordinator at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where significant contributions included conducting resource surveys and providing oversight for compliance with state standards. Sarah also managed various historic preservation projects at Shenandoah Historic Restoration Alliance and operated a consulting business, Sabe Preservation Consulting, achieving notable successes including the listing of properties on the National Register of Historic Places. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Historic Preservation and Conservation from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bridgewater College.

South Environmental specializes in completion of environmental compliance documentation to support the required permitting processes of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Sections 401 and 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), and all applicable local regulations.
