Penelope Douglas currently serves as the Health Channel Director of Content & Acquisitions at South Florida PBS since April 2017, overseeing daily productions and special events. Prior to this role, Penelope worked as a Freelance Video Producer, contributing to environmental documentaries for the Battleground Everglades series and producing promotional content for Century Link focused on cybersecurity and other technologies. Penelope also held significant positions as Executive Producer at Newsmax Media, Inc. from January 2014 to December 2016 and as VP & Senior Producer at Information Television Network from July 2002 to January 2014. Penelope holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications.
