Sarah Noorjahan

Sarah Noorjahan, PE, is a highly experienced civil engineer with a strong background in hydrology and surface water management. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at South Florida Water Management District since February 2011, Sarah specializes in hydrologic data QA/QC for various modeling groups and regulatory agencies. Previous roles include working as a Staff Engineer at BEM Systems, Inc., where responsibilities included QA/QC of hydrological data for modeling purposes, and as a Civil Design Engineer at ADA Engineering, focusing on surface water management systems and drainage designs. Sarah's early career involved positions as a Staff Engineer II at CH2M HILL and Project Engineer at Alan Gerwig & Associates, contributing to stormwater modeling and civil engineering projects. Sarah holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
