Brian Sayre has extensive experience in pastoral and palliative care. Brian served as the Director of Pastoral and Palliative Care at South Georgia Medical Center from 2012. Prior to that, they held the same role at South Geor from 2012. From 1998 to 2011, Brian was the Senior Pastor at Valdosta Church of the Nazarene, where they oversaw the relocation and construction of a new church facility. Before that, they served as the Senior Pastor at Inglewood Church of Nazarene from 1993 to 1998, providing spiritual care to a diverse congregation.
Brian Sayre earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1991. Brian then went on to complete a Master of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies from the same university in 1996. In December 2017, Brian obtained certification as a Board Certified Chaplain from the Spiritual Care Association.
