Eric Cestero

Head Varsity Girls Tennis Coach at South Hadley Public Schools

Eric Cestero has a diverse work experience in the field of physical education and coaching. Eric started their career in 1972 at the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamon, where they served as a Professor and lecturer in the Department of Physical Education for 26 years. In 1997, they joined Mount Holyoke College as an Assistant Tennis and Squash Coach/Lecturer. That same year, they also became the Head Varsity Girls Tennis Coach at South Hadley Public Schools. From 1997 to 2010, Eric worked as a Physical Education Teacher at Springfield Public Schools. Overall, they have a strong background in teaching, coaching, and contributing to the field of physical education.

Eric Cestero has an extensive education history in the field of Health and Physical Education/Fitness. Eric earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Freshers Campus jobs, where they studied from 1966 to 1970. Eric later pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree at New York University, from 1971 to 1973. Eric continued their academic journey by undertaking advanced studies at Springfield College from 1989 to 1991, culminating in a degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness.
