David Bennardo

David Bennardo has held the position of Superintendent of Schools at South Huntington Union Free School District since July 2012. In addition to this role, David serves as a Capstone Administrative Certification Exam Trainer and Adjunct Professor at St. John's University, a position held since September 1996. With a wealth of experience in education, David has also been the High School Principal at Harborfields Central School District since July 2003 and has served in various capacities at Sewanhaka Central High School District since September 1992, including Assistant Principal and Social Studies Teacher at Elmont Memorial Junior/Senior High and New Hyde Park Junior/Senior High. Furthermore, David has been a High School Social Studies Teacher at Bethpage High School since September 1988. David earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Instructional Leadership from St. John's University between 2000 and 2007.
