John Murphy

John Murphy has extensive experience in the education sector. John started their career as the Principal at South Huntington School District- Walt Whitman High School in 2015. John held this position until 2021. During their tenure, they demonstrated their leadership skills and knowledge of educational administration. In 2021, they joined the South Huntington Union Free School District, where they initially served as the Assistant Superintendent. In 2023, they were promoted to the position of Principal. Through their various roles, John Murphy has consistently showcased their dedication to fostering a positive learning environment and ensuring the success of both students and staff.

John Murphy earned their Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Stony Brook University, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. John later pursued further education and completed a Doctor of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from St. John's University, graduating between 2016 and 2021.
