Michael Conway

Michael Conway has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael began their career at Holtz Rubenstein Reminick LLP as a Senior Accountant, where they performed audit, review, and compilation services for various industries and supervised staff. Michael then joined Kelsen, Inc., where they worked for over 16 years as the North American Controller, overseeing import and distribution operations and budgeting functions. Afterward, they briefly served as the CFO of Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. In 2018, they interned at Jericho Public Schools while pursuing further education. Michael then worked at Hicksville Public Schools as the Assistant Director of Business before moving on to their current role as the Assistant Supervisor for Business & District Operations at the South Huntington Union Free School District. Since 2023, they have held the position of Executive Director for Business at the same district.

Michael Conway's education history includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Hofstra University, obtained in 1998. Michael also earned a Masters of Business Administration in Finance (With Distinction) from Hofstra University in 2010. Prior to that, they attended Chaminade High School from 1990 to 1994. Michael has additional certifications including being a Certified Public Accountant for the state of New York, and they are also qualified as a School District Business Leader by the New York State Education Department.
