Chet Benham

Chet Benham currently serves as SVP & President of Renewable Energy Ventures at South Jersey Industries, where leadership focuses on non-utility businesses. Prior to this role, Chet was a Senior Advisor at Viridi RNG following a successful tenure as President and co-founder, where Chet established the company as a leader in the renewable natural gas sector. Chet has also held positions such as Managing Partner at Longwood Energy Partners and Chairman of Unconventional Gas Solutions, and led transformation efforts as COO & CDO at Archaea Energy, contributing to its $4 billion acquisition by BP. Chet's extensive experience at Air Liquide includes serving as CEO of Air Liquide Advanced Technologies US LLC and overseeing various innovative projects. Chet's educational background features executive education from institutions such as London Business School and an MBA from the University of Houston.
