David Cutts

David Cutts has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David began their career as an Editor at Faulkner Technical Reports Inc in 1986 and later moved on to work as a Technical Writer at AUTOMATED DATA PROCESSING LTD in 1988. David then served as a Senior Technical Writer at The WEFA Group from 1989 to 1991.

In 1991, Cutts joined the Institute for Scientific Information as a Senior Technical Writer and worked there till 1994. David then joined Telenex Corp as a Senior Technical Writer from 1994 to 1995. After that, they returned to the Institute for Scientific Information, where they served as a Project Manager from 1995 to 1996.

Cutts then moved on to The Conference Board in 1992, where they worked as a Technical Writing Consultant till 2000. In 1996, they joined Thomson Reuters, Intellectual Property & Science division as a Manager, Technical Systems & Support. In this role, they implemented enhancements to proprietary software systems and negotiated external lease agreements. David also served as a Manager, Client System Support, overseeing strategic content technology initiatives and achieving efficiency gains.

At Thomson Reuters, Cutts took on the role of Senior Project Manager and played a crucial part in various projects, including the externalization of the workflow management system and the development of a prototype for Comparative Effectiveness Research. David was later promoted to Director, Content Technology, where they supervised a globally dispersed team and planned re-engineering projects and location strategies.

In 2015, Cutts joined South Jersey Industries as a Project Manager and revitalized the organization's project management practices. David was later promoted to IT PMO Manager, responsible for leading IT project management, recruiting and managing a team of program managers, project managers, and business analysts. Currently, they hold the position of Director of IT Planning & Governance at South Jersey Industries.

Throughout their career, Cutts has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in technology management, and a track record of successfully implementing cost-saving projects and improving operational efficiency.

David Cutts attended The College of New Jersey from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature, General.
