Shane Smith

Shane Smith has a wealth of experience in the fire and emergency management field. Starting as a firefighter and working their way up to various leadership positions, including Deputy Chief of Operations at South King Fire & Rescue. Additionally, Shane has been involved in FEMA Urban Search and Rescue programs, serving as a Task Force Leader and Task Force Safety Officer. Shane also founded and led Rescue City, a nonprofit organization focused on technical rescue training for emergency responders. Shane holds a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management and an Associate's degree in Fire Science from Waldorf University.
