Valarie Amis

Valarie Amis has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in education and customer service. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher and previously as a Special Education Paraeducator at South Kitsap School District since October 2016, Valarie has demonstrated a commitment to supporting students with special needs. Prior experience includes working as an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics from February 2013 to January 2017, where Valarie focused on empowering women through personal beauty and confidence. Valarie's earlier roles included a Patient Service Representative at Franciscan Health Systems and a Medical Receptionist at ASIM & Peds. Valarie also served as a Soldier Linguist in the US Army National Guard from May 2003 to May 2009. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from Western Governors University and an Associate of Arts in Japanese Language from the Defense Language Institute.
