South Orange Rescue Squad
Sarah Broyhill is an Emergency Medical Technician at South Orange Rescue Squad, responsible for delivering emergency medical services and maintaining ambulance operations since June 2023. In addition, Sarah serves as a Research Assistant at Duke University School of Medicine, conducting research on infertility related to endometriosis and developing innovative 3D models of reproductive health. As a Junior Instructor at the Association for Carolina Emergency Response and Injury Prevention, Sarah teaches EMT students critical emergency response skills. Sarah also holds leadership roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where responsibilities include mentoring peers as Senior Chair of the OUR Student Ambassadors and guiding students in biology courses. With a background in cosmetology, Sarah previously worked as a Hair and Makeup Artist for Directions USA and as a MAC Artist at MAC Cosmetics. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a background in Chemistry and Cosmetology from multiple institutions.
