Patrick Arran

Patrick Arran is currently the Head of Legal & Democratic Department at SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL. Prior to this, they were the Monitoring Officer at Gloucester City Council, Cotswold District Council, and Stroud District Council. Patrick has also served as Interim Legal Counsel and Monitoring Officer in a Combined Authority and Interim Head of Legal & Democratic Governance and Monitoring Officer at Stockport Council. Their experience also includes working as a Consultant Solicitor at Davies Ingram and Harvey Solicitors and Interim Legal & Democratic Services Operations Manager at Ipswich Borough Council.

Patrick Arran holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Swansea University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the University of the West of England. Patrick is currently studying for a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of London.

They work with James Carpenter - Head, Development & Corporate Landlord, Adrian Duffield - Head of Planning Department, and Andrew Down - Deputy Chief Executive & Head of Partnerships. Patrick Arran reports to Mark Stone, CEO.
