Chris Matthews

Chris Matthews is a highly experienced cinematographer and director of photography based in New Zealand, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director Of Photography for Chris Matthews since January 2001 and South Pacific Pictures Ltd for the "Mean Mums" series, Chris has also lent expertise as a DOP for commercials at TVNZ and worked on notable projects such as "Cul de Sac" for Greenstone TV and various television commercials and music videos through FLYING FISH PRODUCTIONS LTD. A member of the NZCS, Chris has an extensive background in both dramatic series and commercial content, and has managed a rental business for high-definition camera equipment since 2009. Chris Matthews holds a BA in Psychology and Film from Victoria University of Wellington.
