Kerstin L. Alston

Kerstin L. Alston, M.Ed., FAAC®, currently serves as the Director of Financial Aid and Veterans Services at South Piedmont Community College since January 2023, while also working as a Consultant for Iron Bridge Resources, LLC since April 2022. Alston has held various roles in financial aid, including Associate Director of Financial Aid at York Technical College and Independent Contractor Consultant at Financial Aid Services, Inc. Additionally, experience includes positions as Assistant Director-NCAA Liaison at Kennesaw State University and Assistant Director of Scholarships at Winthrop University. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree from the University of the Cumberlands, a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Columbia College (SC), and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of South Carolina.
