Kira Davad Ferris

Kira Davad Ferris, Ed.D., Ed.S., MS, currently serves as an ESL Instructor and Director of International Education at South Piedmont Community College since November 2020. With a diverse background in education and museum management, Kira has held notable positions such as History Columnist for YC Magazine, Deputy Director at Fort Mill History Museum, and Collections Manager, Registrar, & Archaeologist. Kira's experience includes organizing educational programs, leading archaeological tours with Context Travel, and managing faith-based community initiatives for the American Red Cross. Kira holds advanced degrees in Higher Education Executive Leadership and Community College Executive Leadership from Wingate University, along with a Master of Science in Anthropology from Purdue University.
