Rachel Colquitt

Rachel Colquitt is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as Vice President of Marketing Communications and Executive Director of Marketing & Communications at South Piedmont Community College since March 2023. Previous roles include Marketing & Communications Director at Piedmont University and Senior Director of Communications at Polk County Public Schools, where Rachel managed a diverse team to promote public education. Earlier experience encompasses communications management at the University of South Florida, Polk State College, and significant journalism roles at The Tampa Tribune and Ledger Media Group. Rachel holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, both from the University of South Florida.
