Sarpreet Khera is a Program Manager for Chronic Disease and Health Promoter for the Diabetes Education Program at South Riverdale Community Health Centre since July 2014. Khera's role involves assisting clients with diabetes in navigating health and social services, particularly for high-risk and marginalized populations, while fostering holistic care through interdisciplinary collaboration. Previous experience includes serving as a Health Educator for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's Pink Tour, a Food Security Facilitator at Agincourt Community Services Association, and part of the Communication Team for Leave The Pack Behind, promoting public health awareness. Khera holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Sociobehavioural Stream from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University.
