Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson is a Research Analyst at the South San Francisco Unified School District, where responsibilities include educational data analysis related to state and federal reporting on standardized testing and student performance. Previously, Mark served as a Graduate Assistant at California's Little Hoover Commission, conducting policy research on artificial intelligence and its impacts on workforce planning and voter registration. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Social Research, Mark evaluated programs for the Victim’s Compensation Board and collaborated with the California Air Resources Board on stakeholder surveys. Earlier experience includes policy research internships focused on income inequality in Peru and managing databases for the Citizens Climate Lobby. Mark holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
