South Shore Conservatory
Carla Pecinovsky is currently the Special Projects Coordinator and String Faculty at South Shore Conservatory. Prior to this, Carla was the Orchestra Director at Barnstable Public Schools and a Music Teacher at Dennett Elementary School. Carla has also held positions as an Office Associate and Administrative Assistant at Johnson String Instrument. Carla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Teacher Education from Bridgewater State University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Music, Music Education at Longy School of Music.
South Shore Conservatory
South Shore Conservatory (SSC) is a non-profit community school for the arts in Massachusetts. SSC’s mission is to provide access to exceptional arts education and performance for the South Shore community, fostering creativity, artistic growth, and well-being for individuals of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Serving nearly 3,000 students, the Conservatory provides instruction in over 50 programs including individual and group lessons in most instruments and voice, an arts-principled preschool and full-day pre-k and kindergarten, performance workshops, dance, drama and creative arts therapies, and a variety of performing opportunities. SSC is conveniently located at two beautiful campuses in Hingham and Duxbury and throughout the South Shore in partnership with other arts organizations, schools, social service agencies and community centers.
