South Shore Conservatory
Vartan Aghababian has an extensive background in music education, serving as adjunct faculty at MIT and Boston University, as well as a professor at Boston University School of Music. Additionally, Vartan is a faculty member at South Shore Conservatory, Winchester Community Music School, and Longy School of Music. Aghababian's expertise lies in music theory and composition, where Vartan has been teaching and conducting since the early 2000s.
South Shore Conservatory
South Shore Conservatory (SSC) is a non-profit community school for the arts in Massachusetts. SSC’s mission is to provide access to exceptional arts education and performance for the South Shore community, fostering creativity, artistic growth, and well-being for individuals of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Serving nearly 3,000 students, the Conservatory provides instruction in over 50 programs including individual and group lessons in most instruments and voice, an arts-principled preschool and full-day pre-k and kindergarten, performance workshops, dance, drama and creative arts therapies, and a variety of performing opportunities. SSC is conveniently located at two beautiful campuses in Hingham and Duxbury and throughout the South Shore in partnership with other arts organizations, schools, social service agencies and community centers.
