Katie Comis

Katie Comis is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as Vice President of Urgent Care at South Shore Health since November 2018. Comis has previously held the position of Accreditation Surveyor at the Urgent Care Association and served as Adjunct Faculty in Healthcare Administration at Stonehill College. As CEO of Health Express from January 2014 to November 2018, Comis gained significant leadership experience. Prior roles include Administrative Director of Cardiology at Boston Medical Center and Operations Manager for Nursing at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Comis holds a Master's degree in Health Care Administration and Management from Simmons University, a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Stonehill College, and has pursued executive education at Harvard Business School and Cornell University.
