Janessa Carvalho is an experienced clinical neuropsychologist and associate professor with a significant background in both academic and clinical settings. Since 2013, Janessa has served as an Associate Professor at Bridgewater State University, having previously held the role of Assistant Professor. Concurrently, Janessa has been a Clinical Neuropsychologist at multiple organizations, including Southcoast Health, Lifespan, New England Geriatrics, and South Shore Mental Health, providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adult patients. Prior to these roles, Janessa completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Alpert Medical School of Brown University from 2010 to 2013. Janessa holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned in 2011.
