Matthew Farraye, PA-C, is an experienced Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedic sports medicine and trauma. Since September 2018, Matthew has been practicing at South Shore Orthopedics, where responsibilities include assisting orthopedic surgeons, providing outpatient care, performing comprehensive exams, and conducting minor orthopedic procedures. Prior to this, from July 2017 to August 2018, Matthew served as the sole Physician Assistant on the orthopedic trauma service at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, collaborating with trauma surgeons and managing care for trauma, spine, and hip arthroplasty patients. Earlier roles include working as an Optometric Technician at MyEyeDr. and serving as a Lead Anatomy and Physiology Tutor at the Pirate Tutoring Center. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University.
