Steven Wheeler has over three decades of experience in the fire service and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Currently serving as a GIS Specialist at South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue since July 2012, Steven previously worked at Snohomish Co. Fire District No. 1 for over 31 years, where the roles included Firefighter and GIS Analyst. This extensive experience in emergency response and GIS reflects a deep commitment to public safety and operational excellence in fire management.

South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue
South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue is a Regional Fire Authority (RFA) that staffs 14 stations 24/7, serving more than 250,000 residents in unincorporated Southwest Snohomish County and the Cities of Lynnwood, Brier, Edmonds, and Mountlake Terrace; responding annually to more than 35,000 fire and emergency medical calls. All firefighters are certified as either emergency medical technicians or paramedics. Firefighters specializing in hazardous material response and technical rescue are on duty daily. South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue also has staff members assigned full time to community relations, fire prevention and public education.
