Ian Sharping is a Professor of Legal Studies at South Suburban College since August 2022, teaching undergraduate courses in legal studies and criminal justice. Ian serves as Legal Counsel and Co-Founder of GREYRALLY, a project initiated during Ian's time at Brown University Graduate School, which is set to launch in 2020. As a self-employed consultant since 2016, Ian's notable contributions include panelist engagements, litigation consulting, and authoring works in the legal field. Ian's previous roles include Chief Academic Officer at CompTIA Tech Career Academy, Chief Quality Officer at Instituto del Progreso Latino, and District Manager for Accreditation and Compliance at City Colleges of Chicago. Ian operated as a solo practitioner at the Law Offices of Ian J. Sharping from 2007 to 2011, handling significant cases in criminal, patent, and medical fraud law. Ian holds a Master’s degree in Cyber Security from Brown University, a Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
