Maria Pierce

Maria Pierce is an experienced accounting professional with a diverse background in financial management and bookkeeping. Currently serving as an Accountant at South Suburban Parks and Recreation since April 2022, Maria has previously held positions as a Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant at WhippleWood CPAs PC, and as an Accountant at Genesis Contractor Solutions, where Maria established accounts receivable procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency. Maria's career also includes roles as a Bookkeeper/Office Manager at Environmental Technical Solutions, LLC, and as a Bookkeeper at an Advertising Firm. Additional experience consists of serving as Volunteer Treasurer for Littleton Public Schools PPC and working as a Management Consultant at MetLife. Maria Pierce holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Michigan State University and has pursued an Associate’s degree in Accounting at Arapahoe Community College.
