Jim Kelly

Jim Kelly, GISP, is a seasoned GIS Analyst at South Tahoe Public Utility District since October 2017, focusing on the administration of GIS systems, enterprise deployment, and geospatial analytics. Previous experience includes serving as Project Manager for Geospatial Services at Ayres Associates, where management of projects and business development in utility and government sectors was emphasized. At the City of Fort Collins, Jim held roles as Utilities Systems Project Manager and Engineering Technician, overseeing GIS, GPS, and CMMS systems while implementing IBM Maximo. Earlier experience includes GIS Specialist roles at Municipal GIS Partners, Inc., where Jim managed GIS projects for multiple municipalities, and a GPS Data Collection internship at the City of Decatur/EIU, utilizing GPS technology for municipal infrastructure mapping. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Eastern Illinois University.
