Matt Negem is a skilled orthopedic trauma surgeon currently serving as a physician at South Texas Bone & Joint since September 2022. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of attending physician at Great Plains Orthopaedics from September 2020 to September 2022 and completed an orthopedic trauma fellowship at Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics from August 2019 to August 2020. Matt’s extensive training includes an orthopedic surgery residency at Northwell Health from July 2014 to July 2019. Matt earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from UNT Health Science Center after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Texas A&M University. Education also includes attendance at Blinn College and Stephen F. Austin State University, along with a high school diploma from Central Catholic High School in San Antonio.
