Jeremiah Ponce is a Performance Improvement Analyst at South Texas Health System since June 2023, specializing in data collection and analysis of CMS core measure indicators across multiple facilities. Previously, Ponce served as an Epidemiologist at the City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, focusing on COVID-19 education and contact tracing. Additional experience includes roles as an Agriculture Specialist with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and a Case Investigator with the CDC Foundation, where Ponce contributed to COVID-19 case recording and safety practices for vulnerable populations. Ponce also has experience in customer service from The Home Depot and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on medicine from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and is currently pursuing a Master of Health Administration at LSU Shreveport.
