Kevin Witherspoon

Kevin Witherspoon, EdD, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for South Washington County Schools, a position held since July 2008, where leadership and management of the Human Resources Department are prioritized to support the district's mission and strategic plan. Previously, Kevin held roles including Director of Special Services, overseeing a $44M budget for various programs, and Assistant Principal at Park High School, contributing to the administration of a large student body. Kevin's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Leadership from the University of St. Thomas, a Master's degree in Educational Psychology-Special Education from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders/Deaf Studies from the University of Minnesota. Early career experience includes serving as a Special Education Teacher at Rosemount Senior High School.
