Alexandra Ocampo

Alexandra Ocampo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alexandra currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Southwest Community Health Center Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Achievement First, overseeing compensation policies and job descriptions. Alexandra has also served as a Human Resources Business Partner at Sikorsky, supporting a large team of engineers and leading employee survey analysis. Alexandra has held leadership positions in various organizations, including Director of Human Resources at Community Health Center Association of Connecticut and Human Resources Manager at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists. Additionally, they have experience in recruitment and community partnerships as the Director of Recruitment and Community Partnerships at Public Allies. Alexandra has a strong background in HR, having worked as the Director of Human Capital at Achievement First and HR Manager at NBCUniversal, Inc. Alexandra began their career as a Human Resources Business Partner at Target and as a Project Counselor/Job Developer at the Institute for Labor Studies.

Alexandra Ocampo completed their Bachelor's degree in Public & Private Sector Organizations from Brown University in 2006. Alexandra later pursued their Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Connecticut School of Business, graduating between 2018 and 2020. Additionally, they obtained the Syntrio US Workplace Harassment and Discrimination Connecticut Manager certification from Syntrio in November 2023. Alexandra also obtained the Welcome! certification from the PsychArmor Institute in 2018. Lastly, they achieved the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in August 2016.
